Cool, let's write a little message in english! I just looked in my MCI and this recipe isn't explained. It's true this cake looks really appealing, but so far, we can just drool over the picture

Sorry but the cake is coming from one of the famoust french pastries...calls "DALLOYAU"
it's names is "religieuse"

For Sylvar:
In case you don't know what a "religieuse" is, the biscuit is made with puff pastry ( like profiteroles actually). It's filled with cream, either chocolate or coffee flavor and you put some icing and whipped cream on the top. Usually, they are not as big as the one on the picture.
Now that you have a little bit of explanation, maybe you can try to bake it (the puff pastry is easy to do) and send us a photo of YOUR religieuse.

Thanks again.  If it's from Dalloyau, a recipe wouldn't help: I'd have to train for decades to learn how to do it correctly!  I"m happy to know the whole story.
